Revit assigns the label for example level 1 and the level symbol to the new level.
Creating new floor plan revit.
Select ribbon view plan views.
Select a level for the area plan view.
For type select a view type from the list or click edit type to modify an existing view type or create a new view type.
Level 1 1 where the value in parentheses increases with the number of duplicate views.
Note if you create duplicate plan views the duplicate view appears in the project browser with the following notation.
In the project browser under floor plans right click level 2 and click rename.
Use the project browser to rename the level if desired.
In the new area plan dialog for type select an area scheme.
On the create panel click the plan views dropdown you ll see we can make floor plans and reflected ceiling plans.
If you select more than one level revit creates a separate area plan for each level and groups them by area scheme in the project browser.
For scale select an appropriate view scale for the new view.
To create unique area plan views select do not duplicate existing views.
Click view tab create panel plan views drop down and then click floor plan reflected ceiling plan structural plan in the new plan dialog.
Alternatively you can rename levels by renaming the corresponding view in the project browser.

You can do this as follows.
When you copy a level it doesn t automatically create a view in your project browser you will need to create one.
At the prompt click yes to have revit lt rename the corresponding views.
By selecting the view you require to create floor plan reflective ceiling plan or structural plan.
